Your past attendance, membership, or donations to WACCI events identifies you as an engaged citizen; knowledgeable and involved in your local community and committed to a deeper understanding of the world around us. WACCI has been privileged to bring accomplished speakers to central Illinois including Nobel Prize winners, Mid-East negotiators, diplomats, ambassadors, scholars, Peace Corps workers and environmentalists. WACCI brings the larger world to us here.
By choosing to become a member, donate, or sponsor, you join the global conversation on current issues and support greater understanding of international affairs. The Council is a community of individuals, business leaders, academics and educators, young professionals and students who share a global perspective and a commitment to international understanding in our communities.

Our speakers are paid for primarily by members’ dues, so we count on you and others like you to maintain the high quality of our series.
WACCI membership is open to individuals or household members.
Annual membership renewals are requested to be paid at the beginning of each program year by October 1. New members are welcome to join throughout the year. Memberships paid in the spring (April through June), will have their membership extended to June of the following year.
Membership levels:
Benefactor – $500-$1,000
Sustainer- $250
Supporter – $100
Friend – $50
Student – $10
